Discussion challenges educators, farmers, environmentalists and others involved in agriculture and public service to consider what their places and communities need from them. What narratives and images of human ecology inspire healthy living in rural Kansas?

Panelists include Jack Baker and Jeff Bilbro, English Professors at Spring Arbor University, and Aubrey Streit Krug, Director of Ecosphere Studies at the Land Institute in Salina.

This event is part of "Virtues of Place: Wendell Berry and Rural Kansas," public programs using the works of noted environmental writer Wendell Berry to spark dialogue about education in rural communities.
