Travel Stipend & Hotel Reimbursement
A travel stipend and hotel reimbursement are available for the Future of Kansas History Summit participants, as funding allows. Restrictions apply. Please review the following criteria to see if your organization is eligible.
- Participants who travel more than 60 miles one way to attend and whose organizations are located in counties with populations below 50,000 are eligible for a travel stipend of up to $100.
- Participants whose organizations are in counties with populations below 50,000 are eligible for a hotel reimbursement for a one-night stay at the Hyatt Place in Topeka on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

- Apply here for the hotel reimbursement and travel stipend.
- Application for hotel reimbursement and travel stipend required by August 31, 2026.
- One hotel reimbursement and one travel stipend per organization.
- A signed Travel Voucher and Hotel Reimbursement form submitted after the Summit will be required for payment to be processed.
- Hotel reimbursements and travel stipends are not available for museums and historical societies located in the following Kansas counties: Butler, Douglas, Johnson, Leavenworth, Reno, Riley, Saline, Sedgwick, Shawnee, and Wyandotte.
