Voices & Votes: Democracy in America

Date and Time: October 7, 2023

Location: Winfield Public Library, 605 College St, Winfield
(view on google maps)

When American revolutionaries waged a war for independence, they took a leap of faith that sent ripple effects across generations. They embraced a radical idea of establishing a government that entrusted the power of the nation not in a monarchy, but in its citizens. Explore that leap of faith in the Smithsonian traveling exhibition, Voices and Votes: Democracy in America! Now open through November 19.
For exhibition and event details, contact Winfield Public Library directly.

Voices and Votes has been made possible in Kansas by Humanities Kansas with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the following partners: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas Foundation; Kansas Tourism; ITC Great Plains; Mariah Fund; and Humanities Kansas Friends of the Humanities. Special thanks to the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics and the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum, and Boyhood Home.
