Break for Ideas with HK and Beccy Tanner on Wednesday, October 28 at 12:00 PM. We're hosting writer and Wichita State University instructor, Beccy Tanner, for a presentation of "Dirt, Grit, and Jell-O Salad—How We Survived the Great Depression." We'll discuss what communities did to survive and thrive in times of hardships, what it means to be rural, and how that's changed over time. Find out if we're still full of the dirt, grit, and Jell-O salad that defined our ancestors. The event will conclude with Q&A. Come with questions for Beccy!
