Now open through March 7, 2021: local exhibit "Independence: Include, Initiate, Innovate."
When booming oil businesses left Independence, the community quickly realized that innovation, not industry would assure that the town would remain a thriving community. Reflect on one town's rich history, entrepreneurial and innovative mindset, and visions of a more sustainable future in the exhibition "Independence: Include, Initiate, Innovate." Part of the "Crossroads: Change in Rural America" initiative.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, dates may be subject to change. For exhibition and event details, including hours of operation and online opportunities, contact the local organizations directly.
