This film tells the story of a women born in Mexico, but spent the majority of her life in Kansas. Now a naturalized citizen, she advocates immigrants that are part of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
Join filmmakers and scholars for a panel discussion.
This event is part of "An American Story," a documentary film series that explores issues of race, ethnicity, and socioecononics found in the lives of everyday Americans.
