On Vacation! - Exhibition

Date and Time: April 16, 2020

Location: Ulrich Museum of Art, 1845 Fairmount St, Wichita
(view on google maps)

Drawn entirely from the Ulrich Museum's permanent collection, this exhibition highlights art that speaks to the thrill of vacationing - from big cities to small-town diner, from the beach to a bullfight. Features art by John Baeder, a photorealist that depicted American vernacular culture in the 1970s.

Part of "Voices from the Vault: The 1970s," public programs at the Ulrich Museum of Art exploring the art of the 1970s and social forces that shaped it. Series will launch a new online portal of rarely-seen art from the museum's collection.
