Workshop uses the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien and console gaming to guide participants through four essential real-life applications that stories have on one's life - through fantasy, escape, consolation, and recovery.
Event is part of "Resilience Through Story," public programs at MidAmerica Nazarene University and the Olathe Public Library exploring how stories allow humans to cope with adverse life events.
