Kansas Stories of the Vietnam War - Alvin Matzke's Story

Watch a recently-recorded interview with Alvin Matzke, an Onaga resident that served in the Vietnam War in the late 1960s. Stationed in Cu Chi Base Camp, South Vietnam, Matzke arrived shortly after the TET Offensive. Hear his stories of moving supplies during one of the most critical periods in the war.

This event is part of "Kansas Stories of the Vietnam War," a statewide oral history project to commemorates 50 years since the escalation of US involvement in the Vietnam War.
