On July 19, 1958, Galyn Vesey was among a small group of students that led Wichita's Dockum Drugstore Sit-in, one of the first lunch counter protests of the Civil Rights era. Hear his story.

The event is part of "People, Pride, and Promise: The Story of the Dockum Sit-in," a traveling exhibition that commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Sit-in.
