Writing workshop to share immigrant stories.
Led by José Faus
Nearly everyone has an immigrant story yet rarely do we have the opportunity to share and preserve it . Tell your immigrant story at this writing workshop facilitated by Jose Faus of the Latino Writer's Collective. No previous writing experience necessary. Participants are invited to bring an object that is meaningful to them to inspire their writing. Workshop available in Spanish and English.
José Faus is an independent teacher and mentor. He is a founder of the Latino Writers Collective and is on the board of the Writer's Place. His writing has appeared in numerous anthologies and journals. In addition, he has written two books of poetry and painted numerous murals throughout Kansas City.
