Presented by David Farber, history professor at the University of Kansas
The 1960s were a time for questioning what were previously thought to be the truths about American life. Learn the cultural context of the Woodstock Music Festival and see how social forces fuel creative counter culture, then and now.
Event is part of "Back to the Garden: Photographs of the 1969 Woodstock Festival," an exhibit marking the 50th anniversary of the music festival that came to symbolize the tumultuous 1960s.
