Join HK on Zoom for a Big Idea interview with Ayesha K. Hardison, Associate Professor of English and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Kansas, about her Big Idea essay "Coupling Jim and Jane Crow."

Jane Crow, an accomplice to Jim Crow, prevented Black women's full participation in society throughout the twentieth century. Dr. Hardison joins Dr. Valerie Mendoza of Washburn University to discuss how Jane Crow impacted Black women's lives and shaped their writing and activism.
