Learn about the Buffalo Soldiers, African American cavalry soldiers that served on the Western frontier.

Event is a dedication for "Honoring our Pioneers by Researching, Preserving, and Sharing the History," an outdoor heritage signage project that tells the stories of those buried in the Wellington community cemetery. Includes of story of Wellington resident Thomas Dixon, an African American Civil War veteran.
