Many indigenous stories predate European contact. How can we unearth those stories to learn the culture and history of place? How much of that intergenerational knowledge is encoded in songs, dance, and visual symbolism?
This event is part of "Stories from the Land: Indigenous Voices Connecting within the Great Plains," an exhibition and public symposium featuring Native American perspectives on art, culture, and the environment. A collaboration between Bethany College and First American Art Magazine.
