Indians of Wichita Remembering the Vietnam War - Opening Reception

The public is invited to special exhibit opening. Native Americans serve the United States armed forces in greater numbers per capita than any other ethnic group. Learn about the Warrior Society and its role the Vietnam War and other conflicts.

The event will feature a panel discussion with local veterans.

This event is part of "Kansas Stories of the Vietnam War," a statewide oral history project to commemorates 50 years since the escalation of US involvement in the Vietnam War.
