Speakers include Tom Esselman, CEO of Connecting for Good, a Kansas City-based nonprofit dedicated to providing internet access to low-income communities, and George Kegode, Agronomist at Highland Community College, talking about the evolution of pesticides and agriculture technologies among impoverished nations.
This event is part of "Highland Community College Cultural Series," community discussions exploring the disenfranchisement of indigenous peoples and the role of social justice in medicine and technology.
